King of Seas Review

King of Seas Review: Drink Up Me Hearties Oh NO!

King of Seas has an arcade feel to its gameplay, although you still need to manage your sails, wind direction and point the shooty bits of your cannons the right way. But you also wield magical skills that allow your ship to launch fireballs, summon sharks and fire laser beams using mysterious voodoo. You can also have your crew pee on the cannons to cool them off, yes, that is actually a skill.

Battle Brothers Review

Battle Brothers: Complete Review

Battle Brothers is a brutal game, to the degree that it took me four different attempts to review it off and on for the span of an entire year. That’s because I simply couldn’t progress far enough to properly review it. The game continually handed me my own ass, even on the lowest difficulty.

Team Fight Manager Review

Team Fight Manager Review: Needs a Little Coaching

Team Fight Manager is a wholesome take on the E-sports scene that puts you in the role of coaching a team in an arena-style hero game. I say wholesome because none of the toxicity or drama that follows titles such as Overwatch or League of Legends is present in Team Fight Manager. Even the streamer chat is hilariously polite when your players stream during downtime. The game focuses more on the mechanics than the drama, and that’s probably for the best.

Ark Genesis Part 2 Review

Ark Genesis Part 2 Review: A Bitter Finale

This is the kind of review I hate writing the most. I’d rather praise games than crap on them, especially ones that are as dear to me as Ark is. I have more hours into Ark as a whole than any other game. It’s not even close. Heck, I’ve moved on from Genesis 2, but I’m still playing on another map right now.
