Gears 5 does very little to change the formula, if you have liked other Gears of War titles, you will enjoy Gears 5. If you didn’t, Gears 5 isn’t going to win your heart and mind now. It’s that simple. The game does, however, have a lot of content, a lengthy campaign, an improved horde mode, versus and a new mode called escape.
It has become normal for gamers to mock writers whenever they compare a game to Dark Souls. Well, mock away because Remnant fits the bill to the tee. With wide strokes of challenging methodical gameplay, epic boss fights, and deep lore.
It is impossible not to compare Shortest Trip to Earth and FTL. If I didn’t already know better, I’d assume the game was a direct sequel to FTL upon first glance.
Age Of Wonders: Planetfall shocked me with its depth. It is pretty easy to learn but its strategical roots run deep. It is a rabbit hole you can easily get lost in as hours vanish when they felt like mere minutes.
