This isn’t a review of Foxhole, but I want to talk about it anyway. I discovered it through a friend a few days ago and picked it up on a whim because it’s currently on sale for 10.99$ On Steam. I’ve got so much more to experience in Foxhole, but I can say it was already money well spent.
Citadel is an online sandbox game similar in nature to games such as Ark Survival Evolved, Conan Exiles or Rust. In it, you play a freshly forged wizard or witch. You are free to pursue your path to mastery in whatever fashion you see fit. You can go it alone or create a wizarding house and invite some friends. No sorting hat required!
Gears 5 does very little to change the formula, if you have liked other Gears of War titles, you will enjoy Gears 5. If you didn’t, Gears 5 isn’t going to win your heart and mind now. It’s that simple. The game does, however, have a lot of content, a lengthy campaign, an improved horde mode, versus and a new mode called escape.
The survival Sandbox may not be the trendy genre they once were, but there still exists a fanbase who really enjoy them, myself included. That said, they have traditionally come with a large number of issues. This has made some of them difficult for many players to enjoy.
