Hades 2 Review

Hades 2 Review: Hades 1 With Extra Steps

Hades 2 is undoubtedly a great game and one I’ve definitely enjoyed playing. At the same time, it somewhat feels like it’s trying to catch lightning twice, which almost never happens. What I mean by that is, Hades 2 is simply more Hades, it’s a very safe sequel.

No Man's Sky 2025 Deep Dive Review

No Man’s Sky in 2025: Deep Dive Review

I purchased No Man’s Sky when it released back in 2016, and it’s one of the few games I’ve ever refunded. It’s not that it was bad, it’s that it felt non-existent, even with your controller in hand, there simply wasn’t a game in there to actually play.

Over the years, No Man’s Sky has redeemed itself in a way I don’t think any other game has. It has received numerous updates that have essentially overhauled the entire game more than once, and have added a ton of new gameplay systems to its core identity.

Wild Gate Review

Wild Gate Review: An Incredibly Unbalanced Game

Wild Gate is a competitive multiplayer game that actually tries to be different. Considering the current homogeneous nature of the game industry, that automatically wins some points from me. The closest game to Wild Gate would be Sea of Thieves, but Wild Gate condenses a similar experience down into 15 to 40-minute match times.

Dead by Daylight Review

I Shouldn’t Have Slept on Dead by Daylight: Review

Dead by Daylight is a 9-year-old asymmetrical multiplayer game that is still going strong in 2025. I intentionally ignored the game for the longest time. I’m not a horror fan, be it movies or video games, and I tend to shy away from things that are creepy or gore-filled. That meant the entire concept always gave me the ick, and I just wrote it off.

That was a mistake. A friend recently got me to try it, and there’s a lot going on with this game that makes it really special. To be fair, Dead by Daylight has had 9 years of refinements, but I want to talk about some key things that I think really make it a great game that’s worth playing, even now.
