Arkham Horror is a cooperative board game based on the works of H.P Lovecraft. 3rd edition is the latest installment of the core Arkham line. I have no experience with previous editions of the game. It’s sister game, however, Eldritch Horror is one of my favorite board games.

Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition Review

Horizon Zero Dawn has an interesting concept. Fill the world with giant robotic animals and tell the player to take them down with bows, arrows, and slingshots. Somehow the idea works out great instead of being a complete disaster. In fact, the combat against mechanical monstrosities is easily one of the games highest points.

Overcooked 2 Review: Chaos Incarnate

While Overcooked 2 can be played solo, the core experience is that of chaotic cooperation between partners and friends. You will laugh and yell at each other in equal measure as the team attempts to cook and send out a variety of dishes while combating oddball hazards and individual incompetence.

Days Gone Review: A Slow Burn

Days Gone is a slow burn, slower than most. I almost quit during the first several hours. Not because the game was boring, but it just didn’t grab me. However, the longer you play Days Gone the more it grows from both a gameplay and story standpoint. In the end, I’m very glad I stuck around.
