It’s no secret that I adore Exoprimal, and I’ve made it pretty clear that I think the media has treated the game unfairly. However, as long as Capcom continues making the game even better, and people who enjoy the game keep talking about it, I think Exoprimal is in for some long-term success.
Remnant 2 is often described as Dark Souls with guns, and that’s an accurate surface-level assessment. However, it’s a rather inadequate explanation of what makes Remnant 2 a compelling choice amid the souls-like genre.
Exoprimal has been treated pretty unfairly. A number of internet hate trains gathered steam before the game was ever released. Some were due to the fact that Exoprimal isn’t Dino Crisis. Others because Exoprimal had the audacity to be a multiplayer game that isn’t Fortnight or Call of Duty.
