Ark Genesis Part 1 Review: Ark Revisited

I reviewed the base game, Ark Survival Evolved sometime ago. I’m bringing this up because it is very important for the context of this review. I’m not happy with my original Ark review and score. It happens, I’m not perfect and hindsight is 2020. Ark is one of my favorite games, I have numerous hours in it and I constantly go back to it. Yet I scored it low.

While Overcooked 2 can be played solo, the core experience is that of chaotic cooperation between partners and friends. You will laugh and yell at each other in equal measure as the team attempts to cook and send out a variety of dishes while combating oddball hazards and individual incompetence.

Bad North: Jotunn Edition Review

Bad North is a minimalistic and simple strategy game with fun and satisfying game mechanics. You control little squads of armed warriors on the run from an ever-approaching Viking tide. Your troops bounce from island to island on an overworld map and fight off hordes of Vikings to safeguard the houses on them.

Driven Out Review: A Lesson In Patience

Driven Out is a simple game. You traverse the 2D world in a side-scrolling fashion and kill things with your sword. You can perform a high, low and middle block as well as a high, low and middle attack. Time your block just right and you perform a parry. However, the game’s concept is one of brutal difficulty and pattern recognition.
